Maverick Pre K

All the goodies are from a We R Memory Keepers White Out collection. I bought a huge kit from QVC.

Using up my stash

I made this layout using one sheet of double sided paper. I cut out the center for the phto and the blue mat is the reverse side of the paper. I used a second sheet of plain cardstock to mount the cut outs. I love the result.

Birthday Card

A card I made using Martha Stewart chipboard heart and eyelet paper. The background swirls are stamps made by Autumn Leaves. The cupcakd stamp is made by Hero Arts. Flower is by petaloo. For bling I added a diamond gem brad to center of flower and diamond stickles on the heart. I also chalked the edge of card and added some black ribbon.

Glittered Butterfly Car

A Martha Stewart card kit I bought to make some cards with my mom. There's enough to make eight cards, envelopes included. My mom and I had fun making these together. I also bought a kit to make glitter birds too.

Happy New Year 2009

Now that our Christmas decorations are all put away I've been in the mood to create some Valentine's Day decorations. I made a banner using my new Cricut cartridge called Storybook. I'm also working on getting our garage organzed and I'm planning to paint our down stairs bathroom. I've also been reading commentary on the book of Revelation. That book of the Bible always fascinates me. Yesterday I read about a verse in chapter 3 verse 11 that talks about how God promises to write on the saints His name, the name of His city and His new name. That's amazing to me that God has not finished revealing himself to us. Eternity is going to be amazing.

Basking in the light of His word and light and beauty of spring.

I'm just feeling joyful today. I made a pitcher of sweet tea yesterday and it was just the warm weather was just right to enjoy a refreshing cool drink. Yesterday I was in the mood to clean and organize our indoor space and today I just want to be outdoors and in the sun. We just had a patio addition in our backyard and boy is it calling my name. We still have a ways to go to get our yard in shape for summer but I already dream of the days by the pool. I praise the Lord for giving us the new life in Him and the beauty of new life in the spring to enjoy. Hope everyone has experienced the joy and beauty of having Jesus as your Savior. It's impossible for me to not want to praise the Lord when basking in the light and truth of the Word of God and also the light and warmth of His creation. "Let everything that has breath praise the Lord."
